Seminar with the Participation of CoE Experts
The seminar was held on June 29 and 30 in cooperation with the Council of Europe and European Commission Joint Program: “increasing independence, transparency, and efficiency of justice in the Republic of Moldova, with the theme “Article 9 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms and execution of judicial decisions”.

Estimating corruption risks in the judiciary system
The NIJ held the Conference on “Strengthening the integrity of the judiciary system in the Republic of Moldova by estimating corruption risks and implementing integrity plans”, organized within the Council of Europe and European Commission Joint Project against corruption, money laundering and the financing of terrorism in Moldova (MOLICO 2006-2009), co-financed by the European Commission, the Swedish Agency for International Cooperation and Development (SIDA) and the Council of Europe.

The Initial Training Course Launched in 2009
On October 1, 2009, the National Institute of Justice hosted a festive event to launch the initial training course and basic training for the positions of judged and prosecutor for 40 trainees enrolled at the Institute after approving the results of the admission contest in 2009.
